We would like to hear from you during the conference!
In these last few weeks, we would like to put out an appeal to all students to consider sharing your voice during the conference. Remember that the unique feature of this conference is student voice, as this is a conference organized by students, for students.
Students will have the opportunity to share and learn from one another about actions they are taking towards environmental or humanitarian issues in their own school communities. However, in order for this to happen we need students to sign up for these opportunities to share.
For anyone that would like to give a TED style talk, give a musical or artistic performance, enter a video in the film festival and/or lead a student workshop, please sign up on the appropriate links found on this website.
Phase two of registration is still open and has been extended to March 14th. Please note that it is now a first-come-first-serve basis and the participant fee is 900,000 VND.
Finally be sure to check out the "Latest News" posted below for our latest newsletters.

GIN is known for its abundance of student-led activities. We highly encourage students to sign-up for activities like workshop presentations, TED-talks, service fair, etc. We currently need students (either individuals or groups) to sign-up to lead a workshop during the conference. We would like to publish the workshop schedule before the event, so that participants have the time to think about which of the amazing workshops they would like to attend. For groups that only wants to attend the workshop, they don’t have to attend the conference. Please contact us if this applies to you. This year’s conference will have two workshop sessions with about fifteen workshops to choose from during each session. Currently, we have received very few registrations for workshops.
Please encourage and remind your students to sign-up for activities in the GIN conference. Here is a list of all the ways students can get involved:

It is time to start getting ready for the next GINSaigon conference! Here at SSIS, the air is already filled with excitement and determination as we begin to prepare for another successful conference. It is our pleasure to invite you to the 2015 GINSaigon Conference, from March 20th to March 22nd at Saigon South International School.
"Passion to Action”
This year, the conference is all about using your passions! We believe that people will be able to best address global issues when acting with purpose and passion. Therefore, this year we will be forming Global Action Passion groups (GAP groups) where students will be divided according to their passion, interests and hobbies. (These groups will take the place of GANGS or Global Action Network Groups) Students will learn how to use their passions to take action on global issues. Additionally, students can look forward to creative workshops, engaging simulations, keynote speakers, and inspirational student TED talks.
Furthermore, this year the conference is expanding regionally with the attendance of international schools from Laos, Cambodia and Thailand. This is a great opportunity for students to learn about the current state of issues in and around the region while also sharing perspectives with neighboring countries. We hope this opportunity will enable students to broaden their perspectives and ignite each others’ passions to change the world.
Official registration will begin November 1st. The link to register will be sent to you separately. Specific instructions for MRISA schools will be shared with this link.
Registration will have two phases to ensure that all schools have the opportunity to participate. During Phase 1, schools will be allowed to register up to ten students plus up to two teachers/chaperones. Phase one registrations will be open through January 15. After that, Phase 2 of registration will open, allowing schools to register additional students on a“first come first serve” basis until we have reached our maximum limit of 400 participants. The registration fee for MRISA schools is $70 USD.
We are looking forward to welcoming you on March 20th at Saigon South International School. Your attendance determines the success of the conference.
